NL Changemaker Scholarship

At NL English Academy, we believe in the importance of role models for ambitious, kind, and forward-thinking young students, who we believe will have a positive impact in the future.
Each term, we award two students the NL Changemaker Scholarship, valued at up to $3000. All NL English Academy scholarship recipients will receive ongoing 1 on 1 mentorship directly from the Academy's principal.
Who we are looking for:
- Each term, we look for bright, enthusiastic and engaged students studying OC, Selective or High School English
- Kind, selfless & altruistic towards others and is an active contributor to the community
- Has an innate love of learning and curious about the world
- Passionate with extracurricular pursuits & leadership initiatives
- High achieving, self motivated & disciplined
- Long term thinker
Special consideration may be given to low SES, rural or Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander applicants.
Scholarship recipients will receive:
- NL Changemaker Scholarship covering 100% of tuition fees for 2x terms (valued at up to $3000)
- Ongoing 1 on 1 mentorship guidance & personal support from the NL English Academy principal
Application process:
- Phase 1: Written application
- Phase 2: Successful candidates will be invited to an online interview
- Phase 3: Successful candidates will be awarded and inducted with the NL Changemaker Scholarship
